i'll join!!!. i put in 2 dozen barred rock eggs today... we all need to keep our word and post pics of our babies when they hatch.... idk where ill put these chicks till spring, guess i'll have some new room mates.

Here's the dad of my eggs! All the moms are EE's. He's a Danish brown leghorn/ Delaware cross. He's also a big hero as he saved all his girls from a hawk!

Thanks! He is the perfect roo - not mean, sweet to his girls but very protective. I've had chickens for about 40 years and didn't know the combination existed.
