Hi! Wondering if I could have help determining if one of my girls could actually be a boy. The comb and wattles are much more developed than my other two Marans. Also noticably the largest and boldest of the six I have. This was the first one to start hopping up on me and exploring the new coop and run and is clearly top of the pecking order. Fearing it's a rooster because I love her/his personality, but my family doesn't want to have a rooster around. Here's some pics. The close up one is of one of my other Marans of the same age who I am 99.99% certain is a hen for comparison.

The middle picture looks like a rooster to me, but I'm pretty bad at identifying them. LoL. Looks almost like one of mine (other than the feather difference) which I see trying to crow.

Here he is front and center, almost 6 weeks old. You can also see another cuckoo maran rooster ducking in the lower left, same comb, he tries to crow too.

I could be convinced yours is a hen though, yours is older and the comb and wattles don't look as big.
