Sexing partridge and silver partridge

Just wondering how soon you can sex these? The adult birds are easy to tell apart, but how early do they start to show differences?

4 weeks is the earliest, but not all chicks can be sexed at this week. 6 weeks you can pretty much tell what gender unless of course a silkie or polish.

Depends on the breed a little bit.
Usually by 4 weeks.
Watch for the breast to feather in.
Males will feather in mostly black.

Thanks! These are mixed silkie and cochinXsilkie and OEG X silkie, so no particular breed for reference. What will show on the breast if they're cockerels?

What breed are they? If they're silkies, it will be close to 4 or 5 months
