shipping pricing for ideal

Hello, I am thinking of getting 10 chicks from ideal. It won't tell you how much the shipping is until you put in ALL the personal info. with cc and all. Thing is that I'm not ready just yet to order them. I want them the first week of Sept. when the other chicks I'll be getting should be hatching from Shay20. Can anyone give me an idea as to how much to expect? Thanks

For small orders add $7 (less than 1/4 box)

then add $1 per breed and sex

and then add 5¢ per Chick, Bantam, Chukar, or Guinea, 20¢ per Turkey Poult or Duckling, and 28¢ per Gosling.

So that $7 fee is the actual shipping??? I thought it was just some way of inflating the price if it was less then 25 chicks. Thank you.

I did too but that's what my invoice says also. $7 plus $1. I will know on Friday when I get my white silkies in.

$7 is for the box plus $1 per breed plus 15 cents per chick. This is for an order of around 25 chicks. Since you want to order only 15 chicks, the shipping might even be more because they may consider it a small order.
