No problem. This is how we learn. I don't know all the possibilities either.

Which varieties? Just curious.

Most duckwings will have white legs, the exceptions coming to mind being Brassy/Blue Brassy/Quail. Most birds that are blue or black have dark legs. Blue SDW, Blue Reds (Blue BBR) don't. Most reds will have white legs (except gingers).

Many Crow Wing OEGB will have dark legs, but whites, barred, cuckoo have white.

My 2 oldest Crele pullets (this year's babies) have started laying. I'd have to check the dates, but they're right at 5 months old. Pleasantly surprised, because I didn't expect eggs til Spring.

Congrats! I know I won't get any eggs for sure this year, my oldest are creeping up on 12 weeks unless they decide to give me Christmas presents this year.

I've never had one go broody that young, but I guess if she's laying its possible. They have in incredible instinct.
