My newly hatched showgirl chicks. Not sure the lighter chick is gonna make it, it is almost dry but isn't standing yet. Sure hope it pulls through.

It is doing much better, its eating and drinking dine now and its running around everywhere. So glad it made it, I have fallen in love with these showgirl chickens.

Hello everyone. Very new to showgirls here. Just hatched my first two days ago! I love them! These chicks were supposed to be black though I'm noticing some lighter coloring on some of them. Do black showgirls darken as they Age? Will try to post some pics later on after I take them! Thank you for any response!

do u mean their skin color because of they r of paint backgtound they can have holes in their pigment

No, not their skin color. They all have black skin. I was referring to their down color.

Here are (bad) pics of two of the chicks. Could they be blues instead of black?
