I have this 5 month old hen that has silkie feathers but no crest and she is bigger than my full silkies. She is so soft! Has anyone had a mix turn out like this? I thought first generation silkie mixes would have normal feathers.
Attaching pictures of her and who I think her parents were (two possible dads). The brown rooster has 5 toes, the black silkie mom had 5 toes, the barred rooster has 4 toes, and baby has 5 toes if that helps narrow down paternity.
