That's what I thought. From what I've read on here, they usually start laying around 7 months or older. My other breed, marans, started laying at the same age and younger. I'm wondering if it's all the roos here, that are possibly stimulating the girls into laying sooner?? And yes, the boys are all crowing (for some time now) and breeding! Seems like if I see one actually breed a pullet, two weeks later, I have an egg! Thought I'd have more time to seperate them, guess I'd better get cracking on some more new pens NOW!
