Can someone share some pictures of what males and females look like. I heard something about their little crests or afro-poofs, what I call them, are differently shaped.

All my males are really "poufy".. but, you can sorta see the "wisps" coming off the back of his crest.

And this is my girl - she doesn't have any "wisps" =]

Lacey has great birds.

The male she passed along to us is a beauty; his crest is so "puffy" that he's as pretty as many girls. Thank you again for him and for the HatTrick girl you sent along. They are both adjusting well & are some of my nicest birds. I hope your weather has improved!

OK, will the males get combs?

Both males and females will get combs, but the males' combs will be more prominent and sometimes the females combs can be almost non-existent.

OK, here are mine. The one little fella has an injury on the back of his neck, thanks to the bigger chickens. So they are my indoor chickens right now.

What do you think? I'm thinking female for the more rounder poof...

but I don't know about the other one...

The 'comb' area are about the same on them.

how old are they? I think the first one could be a boy. 2nd pic I am not sure of.
