So I found this chicken...

Curious, what makes her not a welsummer?the pics online look so close. I'll try to take better pics.of her.
Welsummers have a chocolate-colored body with golden hackles that have light black streaks in them. Towards the neck, the golden hackles fade into dark red. Their feathers have a very slight penciled marking in them. The breast is almost a salmon color, but darker and more brown.

Hens with the silver duckwing color have a dull, light brown body and prominent silver hackles with black or dark gray streaks in them that are more broad than the Welsummer's hackle streaks. The breast is a salmon color that tends to appear more light brown.

Images of a Welsummer (top) and a Silver Duckwing Old English Game (bottom) is shown below. Neither picture is mine.

Thank you for the info! All my chicken experience has been with mixed flock weirdos lol I do have a hard time telling the brown hens apart!

I love them! I def want to add Buff Orpingtons to my flock! I have a EE/black ausrtolorpe rooster, a silver lace wyandotte and a nondescript white with a few black feathers😂
Thanks for the help with iding Linda! I've now become the neighborhood chicken lady!
