Soft shell eggs

we have 2 ducks. They both started laying. However one duck lays eggs with a very thin soft shell. The other lays normal hard shell eggs. They both get 20% protein in their feed. They eat with the chickens. What can we do to alter this?

Provide Oyster shell as you should be for your Chicken Hens too..Put into a separate bowl so they take what they need..water, water , water...

20% protein? that dont sound like a layer feed.......is it?

If you cant get layer feed anywhere, mix in oyster shell. If THAT doesnt work, you can also try mixing in calcium citrate tablets

Never mix it in your feed....Too much calcium is no good either ...Separate bowls...
