Somebody shot my rooster in head with BB gun-need urgent advice please!

Hey guys!

I wanted to update on Rick almost 3 weeks later.

He is doing great, still only has one eye, but that's not stopping him, and all the proof I needed was when I candled my broody silkie hens eggs last night, she's stealing the other hen's eggs also, so she's got 8.

All are developing great, with the oldest one being around 10 days "old".

I was tickled pink, to say the least, and I'm praying that she will stick with it so we can have new babies and replace the ones we have lost!

Rick's a daddy!!!!!

I can't stand the cuteness and cried like a baby when I found the chick. He pipped this am and was out by 5!

If you mean the hen and not me, she's on the nest hatching the other 4, one is pipping right now.

I'm so excited, I had to come into town, I can't wait to get back home!!
