In case you haven't seen this posted on FB. Apparently the guy shot the elk--in ND--set his camera on time and took the photo. He didn't look at it until later.

Actually I kind of figured that from the way the mt. lion is standing--it never would have approached a human like that. On the other hand, maybe it was the one that was on the way from the Dakotas to CT and just stopped in for a photo op.​

It is a fake. THe guy in the photo is the BIL of a friend of my DH. A friend of the guy in the photo-- photoshopped the photo and it went viral.

Of course it is a fake; I guess it is easy to believe anything these days.
