Speckled Sussex 6 or 8 weeks

I am praying to the chicken Gods to pleeeease let them be girls! I have waited so long for chickens and now already one is a rooster (from another breed I have) Are you quite sure they’re both pullets?
I would 100% guarantee there is no chance these chickens will ever crow.

Here are my specked Sussex from this year about the same age as yours. You will see the notable difference between the two.

The boy has much more white on him, where the pullet is more muted, like yours. You can also see how perky his tail is (which is can be a sexing indicator in certain breeds like this one where there are two to compare)

How adorable are they?! The comb and wattles and that strong upright posture on your boy is making me feel much better about mine being girls. Thank you for sharing! I take pictures of my chickens everyday lol way too much. These two are supposed to be blue Plymouths and we clearly see who’s a he and who’s a she lol. The roo has to be rehomed as we can’t have them in this HOA. He’s very pretty and sweet, though he did peck me the other day for trying to pick him up lol

Oh yes, beautiful birds! Wow! I love roosters and he is going to be an absolute stunner.

These are also supposed to be pullets and in my heart, I’m feeling they are as well haha. Beautiful but not so friendly barnevelder and a little Easter egger 🥰

They still look like pullets right? Lol they change everyday and their tails are very upright too. Combs and waffles coming in. They’re between 11-12 weeks old!
