So far, yes, I'd say pullet.....I hope someone will still answer even though this post is old. But can anyone tell if this set little thing is a hen or not? It has never had a tail. It didn't even have hair around its vent when I bought it as a chick.
Thank you very much. It is about 7 weeks and my light brahma, who is the same age had tried to mount the poor thing. I am definitely going to have to find a different living home for the brahma. I didn't know they would try to mate that young. When I asked in a fb group if this meant the sussex was a female, I was told that it didn't and that it looked like a roo. I have never seen a roo mount another roo.So far, yes, I'd say pullet.....
