One of my sussex has a larger redder comb than it’s hatchmate, one lonely curved tail feather but I’m still wondering if it could be a hen. I’d be happy with a roo.
This one was slower to feather in. Stands more upright, “heavier” than the other pullet, and just always is alert and alerting to food or “dangers” which says roo to me.
I’m no expert - so I’m here about 7 weeks old. I’m happy with either one but curious. If better shots are needed I can go grab them
