Splash/ Blue Silkie Thread

Can someone help me out with this little thing here... It hatched out solid white.. Grew in white initially.. Started seeing some black/blue specks at few weeks.. At that point I'm excited assuming it's splash.. Now at 16 weeks I'm confused lol there's all this buff coloring coming through.. What's going on here? I've never seen a splash this color before I believe the person I get the hatching eggs from only has blues, blacks, and splashes...

Ok...I ordered a pet quality blue silkie from ideal poultry. I ended up with 2, I think. Both were grey babies. One lighter than the other. And they have grown to be one black rooster and one dark grey hen. Are they considered blue? How would you tell?

This is my first year breeding BBS silkies.

And I think i've got some really nice birds to start with. Thanks to all the breeders I ordered hatching eggs from last year and those who traded with me.

Took a Splash to a show in January, out of 3 splashes I got BV. Was surprised there weren't more Splash entered. The splash in with the 2 whites got BV. Hatched her from eggs I got from Little Ameraucana Mom.

I have a really nice Splash girl but well her coopmates arent to nice to her

. And well she has been hen pecked

. Anyone have any ideas how to get her tophat to grow back.. She has NOTHING poor girl!!

I have a new little one, Just got it Sunday afternoon....my first silkie

My new Frizzle is named Rizz, which made me think of the movie Grease, so I named the silkie Frenchie..though thinking of finding of a different name for it.
