Splash or White Silkie?

When I ordered my batch of silkies, two of them I ordered as white silkies. Now, at around 2 months, one of those chicks which I thought was white is looking an awful lot like a splash silkie, an off-white color with flecks of light gray. When she was a chick, both she and her white sister both had yellow down, and the color difference between them wasn't apparent until a few weeks of age, when the maybe?splash chick was a dirty greyish white while the other was pure white. Does it just take more time for silkies to get their proper color, or did I get a splash silkie by mistake?

Note: I love all silkies and would love to have a splash one; I have no preference for white nor am I prejudiced against splash.

I've heard that white silkies can look like other colors when chicks. She should, however, develop her real colors as she feathers out.

I would love to see a picture of them (silkies are just so cute)

shouldn't she already be fully developed by 2 months? Or do they take longer to physically mature?

She should be (sorry, I always miss the age when reading

). If she's fully feathered, and isn't pure white, I would guess splash.
