splayed leg

I have a 2 day old duck with splayed leg. Do you separate when treating or should o leave him/her outside with its siblings. he cant keep up with them and mom seems to ignore him.

I'd separate him if he's outside with a mom and would need to keep up with them.
If you separate him though then I'd put one of his brothers or sisters with him.
