Another inch of fluff overnight. -8 right now and dropping. We’ll have -30 it says in my phone. but I’ve seen models say -43. Idk we’ll see.
Either way the house will be cracking and popping with the deck boards.

I assume that is without windchill.

We are headed to 12 below here tonight and she is Waaaaaay north of the Banana Belt I live in...

I looked at her forecast and it is around 30 below temps this coming week...Lucky her...

I picked up some Spent Brewers Grain today. The price was right, The birds seem to like it. I am not sure how it will be once it freezes into a solid block.

Forecast here is for -24 tonight and warming to a high of -5 tomorrow.
This is the weather that encourages the less than desirable to find alternative living conditions.
My birds don't seem to mind it, but I am aware enough not to keep any single comb roosters.

ROFL,,,,I can not imagine I would not live more than a day or two if I brought it in just to keep it warm.
