My CornishXs are 7 weeks exactly today (well, at least 7 weeks from when I got them at TSC). Below are my live weights. Am I average, below average, above average?

Katy, you would butcher now? Or wait till 8 weeks? I am also keeping track of cost per lb, so if the birds are a nice size I can see the advantage of butchering now. Wait weight % will be lost at butcher? (since my weights are live weights).
 
yes they loose around 30%. I can't tell you when to butcher because I don't know what weight you want to be at. For me a 4-5 pound carcass is perfect for cooking. 6# is nice on a few. Remember those big ones in the store are only about 3 - 3.5 pounds. So if It were me I'd be butchering this weekend wich seems like 8 weeks . . . right?
