I have a hova bator 1602n with a pc fan in it so I consider it a forced air incubator. Low is 99 f and high is 100 f. Is that good. Thank you.

Thanks!Just ordered them today. Comin Monday.99.5 is the optimal hatching temperature in a forced fan incubator. So it sounds like you're doing good. I would keep it closer to the 100 than to the 99 though. Hope you have a good hatch!
What breeds? Thanks!Just ordered them today. Comin Monday.
3 pekin, 4 rouenWhat breeds?
Thanks! I just put a water bottle in, but it i have to go to school. I'll see when i get homeWith mail ordered eggs allow them to settle fat end up for a day at room temperature before putting in incubator. Using water bottles for a heat mass is an excellent idea. Put them in now and you'll see your temps even more stable. Also don't panic when the eggs are first put in incubator, it will read low for hours until they are up to temp. The time to get up to temp depends on how many eggs you set. With two dozen it can take overnight. With seven maybe just a few hours, regardless, trust your settings prior to setting eggs and don't make adjustments until 12 hours has passed or you'll be chasing the temp all around.
Just put one in. Thanksif you're only going to set 7 eggs it's a good idea to add a couple sealed bottles of water (the 20oz size) to add mass and help with temp stability. and place the eggs near the center.
You're welcome, good luck with your hatch!!Just put one in. Thanks
