Temperature difference

Started my home made incubator a few days back with new hygrometer and new STC 1000 temperature control. I noticed a difference of 2 degrees between the 2 which one should I take as correct ?

You have to calibrate the stc 1000..
Usally I use a thermometer that I trust. Make sure it's good.. there another thread here on calibrating your thermometer . Set the stc 1000 to that..

I'd run the temp swing at .3

That all being said.. all the ones I have..have never been off more then .2 Celsius. .. either .2 up or .2 down. .. so if you think it's more then that I'd double check the thermometer that your setting too
