Warren looked at Alex, surprised but listened his wing catching the wind and jerked suddenly bu tried again, the balance was extremely delicate and looked at her helplsly, it kept his wings tgether when he was just flying but he doubted the balance would stay if he moved suddenly.

"Take a deep breath and level your shoulder. That'll help keep your balance." Alex said, demonstrating.

Waren sighed and complied awkwardly. His muscles had to tense to keep the position or they'd snap together like he normaly triedto fly, but since that wasn't working he was willing to try anything. Leveling out he flaped a cou0ple times to get used to the feel but his wings slipped apart and he 'stumbled' before regaining his balance.

"Try it again. Forget the other way of flying. If you keep that technique in mind, you'll keep trying that way instead. It wont help." Alex informed him patiently. She'd learned early in her life that patience was often rewarded. If he was going to learn to fly, he'd not need her getting upset with him.

Pausing Warren tried to clear his head. "Are you sure that keeping the center of my wings apart will help?" He asked slightly afraid of how she'd react. She was only trying to help, but it was a lot differnt to have 2 sets of wings.

"Yes. If you put them together fully, the weight will make it hard to move. With a bit of room, the air will help and your wings will move more freely and easily."

"Alright" he said then tried to preform a simple roll but it was difficult to keep his wing tips together while the air tried to rip them apart. He stuggled as he preformed another tumble and his recently dislocated wing jerked and threw off his balance.
