Texas

Welcome! When I lived in Yorktown, I went through Stockdale on the way to SA( not that I went that often). Now I'm in far East TX in the Pineywoods.

I'm in the Davy Crockett National Forest in East Texas...nice to meet you!

We are in the northern most part. We are about 2 miles as the crow flies from Augusta. :)
Now that you say that, and I look at the map - it makes me want to go to Nacogdoches to the Azalea garden at SFA U. I guess this year their plant sale is April 2. They have beautiful plants for reasonable prices -- but the good ones go fast. That is sure a beautiful part of TX and of the whole country too.

Here people's azaleas are blooming and people have narcissus - Redbuds are out, and one of the cool things is that wisteria is all over the place in the end of Feb. and it looks like someone hung out party decorations. I guess you have to say it's spring (by the weather if not by the calendar).

And then I worry about how hot this summer will get and the affect on the chickens.
