I am near Mabank, Cedar Creek Lake.

We have horses, goats, Jacob Four Horn sheep, over 100 rabbits, approx. 300 head of several breeds of chickens, Guineas, 1 Brahman bull, 2 emu's, 1 pot-bellied pig, 1 wild sow, 3 Great Pyrenees, 1 Blue heeler, 1 BlueHeeler - Border Collie cross, & 1 Miniature Longhaired Dachshund.

I have thought about getting sheep, but the idea of one more thing that needs grass July-September has kept me from it. My wife has a swarm of 17 - 1,200 lb. locusts...

I’ve got a good relationship with the local feed store. When he starts ordering chicks, i can have mine shipped in his order. Or have first dibs if he is ordering the same.

Might be good to get some ideal naked necks back to the flock.

First hatch of the year! Now under broody hen after incubating. We didn’t have a good hatch rate last freeze.

P.S. the chickens are not ducks. They are not and do not like all this rain and water in their coops.

I feel the same way! All this doom and gloom weather is a bunch of crap!
