Wife is a little worried and I kind of am also the weak chick doesn’t seem very lively and it keeps rolling on its back it’s like it seems like it’s legs are to weak to carry it gonna give it till morning any suggestions to help it along if it’s not better by morning?

Do you have a nutri-drench or chick vitamins? Either of those could help.

Give it some vitamins. Also, watch for pasty butt

What baffles me is the chick looks healthy except it seems like it’s neck isn’t strong enough to lift its own head

You could also try feeding it some scrambled egg yolk.

Ok. So I did a thing... I’m kiiiiiiiind of attached to the marans I helped hatch. So I took the shell and sent it for gender testing.




Figured I probably needed to stop carrying it around in my pocket if it’s a boy. Results should be in today!
