The African and Chinese goose thread!!

I've had about 7 goose breeds and my Africans were always the loudest followed by my Embdens.
My chinese were the loudest if they were the dominant of all my geese and they were loud! Once they weren't dominant anymore (gander fights) they were back down to being quite again.
So it has a lot to do whose boss
If you are only going to have Chinese they most likely will be loud

I have two chinese..there not that loud...i think it depends on how many you have.

I agree, for what I have seen with my flock is that once a gander that is dominate over all of the ganders and has a fight and loses he is automatically very quite.
But if you just have a pair they will constantly be loud.

I,don't find it helps.someone on here told me my humidity was right but now my air cells are way to big day twelve

I have a pair but seems my duck is quacking louder then normal lately. Shes the only one I have left. Everytime she quacks my geese honk back. Mostly my gander. For being a runner she has a mouth to her

Its hard to tell without seeing the actual candling. Honestly, I would not be handling the egg so much its not going to hatch if you don't leave it to incubate.
