I woke up and this one has missing tail feathers! Could my rooster be a hen after all?

I'm guessing about 20 weeks. I don't know exactly how old it was when we got it so I could be off a couple weeks.

Are both of those white chickens the same chicken? The chicken in the last picture is a rooster.

Yes it's the same bird! And from what I read they don't usually lose those feathers.

They don't usually lose them, you are right. But, if something grabbed him they could have been pulled out.

Even if the tail was lost by this point they would still have saddle and hackle feathers, why don't you check?

Looks like a rooster to me. :/
