Sorry about the group - they are in the garden today and I didn't want to trample the plants to catch them. The birds I'm wondering about are the black ones. They are black Bresse 3 weeks old. I will try for better individual pics tonight
 
I took a few more pictures of my questionable Easter egger sans the red light (thanks for the heads up). Although after reading a bunch of this thread, I'm pretty sure it's a cockrel.

Sorry about the quality, I couldn't get "him" to come any closer.


No red shoulders and only one row to the comb. That is a hen. EE rooster have three rows to their comb. I have two. I thought all six of my EE chicks were roos last year. Lol The comb is the best indicator.
 
Thanks. I'm going to wait a while longer and keep an eye out. I'm still not convinced it's a roo, it's comb is pinker than the rest but nowhere near as pink as the many of the other posters.
