beyond my girls' safety. I have discovered that Buffy, my BO is a merciless plant squasher.

I had hitherto been blaming my dog (who is no longer a "bad boy"..except for his random pooping in the darndest places

).

Today Buffy broke off:

one of the few healthy branches on my struggling Japanese maple,

a branch off my rose bush which had no less than SEVEN buds which will never see the light of day NOW, thank you very much,

my entire succulent bed, including three gorgeous pink blooms off a gray succulent...

Sure, we all love their cute fluffy butts, but those butts weigh more than my fragile plants do. That DOES IT!! I need to fix my penned in day area so they can have their limited ranging.

Thank you for letting me vent.

I have thought it wonderful that there are no bugs in the yard/garden. But I have NO garden either.

So I have penned the girls up and am loving walking around, not stepping in poop

and planting herbs etc again in the garden beds.
