Pullet. The pattern on the feathers is female.

Falcon and owl, heard crowing this morning pretty for sure it was Owl on the bottom.The males seem to have more bird,These guys have about as much beard as the adult hens I’ve had.Owl is the head of the pack and testing his boundaries do I quit allowing both of them to sit on me for now until they can fix their behavior,Owl is really the only one showing aggression movements, but after pushing and running him around yesterday he seems to have calmed, hoping stopping it young will help in the future.Still on the hope for some adult hens.

My two EE x BLRW babies hatched on 23 May. They are sooooo full of personality!

I think this one is the tiny cockerel...

And this one might just be a tiny pullet...

This is Bertha (Mom). She will be a year old on 16 July.

And here’s Flash (Dad). He’s an awesome cockerel! (He will be a year old on 16 July.)

You can use blue kote to try and break that habit. And pine tar. Both of them help with pecking aand plucking.

I gave up. Even the Favs pick beards off the EEs!! They all look great after they moult. Not so great after a couple of months.
