I will not be able to make it Alieda. I am to wrapped with my kids fall sports right now to go to a poultry show. It will be end of November or December before I will have a break.

These heritage RIR are getting more beautiful each day

A couple of my youngsters started laying but I don't know if they are my RIW's or RIR's as I have them both in the same coop and pen. I suspect the eggs were from the RIW's. They are all banded. I found 2 eggs on the coop floor this morning. Time to open up the nest boxes.

Uep its time 2 open up the box I had to do this for my older girls 2 months ago they started laying eggs at 6 months my others have just started good now getting about 6 to 8 brown eghs a day 1 of my older hens is laying a double yoke egg about once a week
