Another picture of the OE pullet. The OE pullets made using welsumer hens appear to be sexable when very young just like the welsumer mother. Another plus, I think.

The cross of a cream Legbar to any salmon breasted breed will continue to produce sexable at hatch chicks. I was told welsumer are only 85% sexable at hatch so I figured the same will follow for the offspring. I have had good sexing ability with the few rogues that don't match to either male or female coloring.
