So it’s really quack quack squawk all day and all night?

Kind of, with 29 ducks and 11 drakes there is always some ruckus going on…

Just my personal opinion: I find the quacks from the ducks and the rasps from the drakes much less annoying than the bawks from chickens…

My chickens don’t bawk.

They keep there heads down and try to be quiet a bawk would draw attention to themselves. Attention would get them raped. The one advantage of having 4 roosters to every hen is it keeps the hens quiet.

It was not planned.

I wanted hens but my hatches just got too boy heavy.

My last hatch was 17 boys and 2 girls.


also it seems whenever a bird dies it’s a girl.
