The svarts from gff are about ready to come out of quarantine

I am bummed about the white earlobes on the roo! ; (

I'm bummed too but we got him really friendly. So at least we have another nice rooster now
When will yours get out of quarantine?

They're about a week out for quarantine. I have enough roos, I was hoping for a better example of svart honas for the money involved

I'm still waiting for the gff ayam cemani to hatch. Chicken math ya know?

No, my friend got a pair of ayam cemani from gff and has started hatching their eggs for me to pick through the hatchings the wait is excruciating!

I'm down to 15 pullets, 3 roos, 3 muscovy ducks and 9 chicks. Plus now the gff svarts. And 25 eggs set to hatch in a week.

My bf just gave me the ok to get duck hatching eggs and turkey chicks and adult quail to put in the chicken condo he built me this fall. He's building me a new duck pen this weekend

So i totally have enablers in my chicken math. I did get up to 60 chickens and 10 ducks last fall.

On my list are cayuga, indian runner and khaki campbell.
