They are so gorgeous! Millie did very well for herself.

Thanks Cynthia, she really is so much fun to watch and fuss over. I was really hoping for more than 2 out of the 5 EE eggs to hatch. Two of them were not fertile when I opened them, and one of them had a huge chick just like the giant grey one that had passed away inside the shell. I don't know why.

We have frost warnings tonight. I sure do miss the South.

We were a little worried about frost last night all the way down here. Blackberry winter is here. I got in the car to take the children to school this morning, and the temp said 34. I'm glad it didn't frost because we already put in out garden, and it would be hard to cover.
