Had posted a new thread too since I wasn't sure if anyone would check here any more...got this answer for anyone who was interested
Your gold hens are pure for gold and will produce all pure for gold offspring when bred to a gold rooster.
Gold and silver are sex linked which means hens can only carry one gene for it.
They can only be one or the other. They can't carry a gene for each like a male can.
If females show gold they're gold and only gold.
If they show silver they are silver and only silver.
