This or this or both or something else? Red mites, maybe more.

I have six chickens so I don't want to buy a huge amount of stuff I'm not going to use. They seem happy, are laying well, eating, sleeping etc but I found a red mite when I was checking the coop the other day so I figure there are far more elsewhere. They haven't been treated for anything else and we have plenty of wild birds in the garden so they may well have other things going on. Our local feed stores are at least an hour round trip and I don't need anything else for a month so I'm reluctant to go. Will any of this work?

This is a small bottle of bird spray with budgies on the front

This is 1.87% ivermectin paste
https://www.amazon.com/UltraCare-Mi...TF8&qid=1493396143&sr=8-4&keywords=ivermectin

Please advise if you can, I have no clue how to do this, how long to remove eggs for (do I just trash them or can I feed them to my dogs?)

Thank you!

I been using sevin dust for over 60 years, my mother when she was a child and My Grand Mother said they used it when she was young---it worked good back then and still works good today. Even works on the dogs with flea's/ticks.

Google 10% permethrin spray and get some of it. Sevin (carbaryl) is no longer approved for use in poultry, and mites in some parts of the country are resistant to it.
