tinamous

I'm looking into the necessary permits. I have bought blown Tinamou eggs from Chili and Argentina without a problem, but I don't know about hatching eggs.

Hi Sue & Alberto
I also have a requirement for several hundred fertilized Tinamou eggs here in California. Sue it would be great if you could share what you find out about regulations for import. Alberto would you be able to supply 100 fertilized eggs? If so can you quote on the cost of that?
Cheers
David

I am also in California and would be interested in several dozen fertile eggs. I have been searching for several months with no luck.

Hi Susan..it won't be very soon, there are a million hoops to jump through for me to import eggs and hatch them, but I am diligently working on it. I need to get permitted through 3 agencies plus the postal inspector. Red tape miles long at this point. I'm about 1/3 way there.

Hi Sue,
Thanks for the reply. If there is something I can do to help, let me know.
I believe you said you are in CA. Big place, I'm north of San Diego.

Susan
