I was given 2 chicks and told they were welsummers. But every picture I have seen of a welsummer cockerel does not look like this boy. They are also very small like tiny, the size of my Cochin. Is this normal? Are they bantams? Are they even welsummers? I also have I think a cockerel black austrolorp? I have no idea. These babies were given to me in an emergency situation and they are all different ages and breeds. Any info is appreciated!

The first and thrid picture *could* be I suppose, but Welsummers are supposed to have yellow legs, and they don’t look quite right. The other are definitely not Welsummers. Cute anyway tho!

None are Welsummers.
1rst and 3rd pictures are Easter Eggers pullets, and probably bantam ones.
2nd picture I'm not sure on breed but it is a bantam, and that one is a cockerel.
The last two pictures look to be a Australorp or Jersey Giant, what are the color of the soles of the feet? White means Australorp and yellow means Jersey Giant, and I believe I do see yellow. For that one I'm thinking its a cockerel.

He is a Jersey giant! I would never have thought! Have 2 SLW’s and Easter egger (full-size) he was raised with and they are all roosters 😭. They run and play all day long and he is a little bigger than they are but they are almost feathered and he still has fluff. Which I thought was very odd. I was like ‘what’s going on with you?’ He is probably 3 times the size of these teeny tiny little bantams. No joke they are maybe the same size as dove but fully feathered. I want to let them out to play in the run but the other chicks chase them! They are like dinasaurs compared to these guys. These little bantams remind me of birds. The lavender Cochin is their buddy and he is just the tiniest thing too. Just fits in the palm of your hand.
