To Make An Olive Egger......Legbar?????

So what happens when you cross a blue/green Egger with a welsummer that does a dappled rust and brown egg?

just got these litte's. We were told the are from a cream legbar roo and a black copper maran hen. Any ideas on what they will look like grown?

I would guess they will be black with some lacing on their necks. I have one all black, one with white markings on he face, and the rest have brown lacing or stripes on their necks and heads. All mine are pullets.

The cockerels I had were much more colorful and had a lot of coloring around the neck and even on the body. If I can dig up some pictures I will post them.

You would likely just get a green or brown egg layer with this cross, not an OE. An OE requires one blue egg gene and one dark brown egg gene, like a Cream Legbar X Marans for example.
