Too soon to tell gender ??

Hi all,

Im curious as to the gender of my chicks. They are about 9 weeks old now.

Got 6 chicks (mixed breeds) and so far im convinced iv got 5 roosters..

Your thoughts please.

Im just going by the redness in the combs.
The white chick has a very red comb and likes to wrestle atleast one other chick in the group.

I get it. They don’t look particularly red to me, but I’ve been in your shoes before. Keep in mind some roosters won’t really be evident until later. My first flock I was convinced I had a rooster and posted tons of pics and he had everyone guessing. We knew for sure when he crowed.

The barred rocks are roosters if they are pure-bred, just from their lighter feathers and legs. I think two others did look like they were pinking up. Will you post again in a week or so?

Im hoping for atleast half being pullets but knowing my luck they will all turn out to be roosters lol.
That being said i would love a rooster but i dont think the neighbors would feel the same.
