June,

I have to say you have organized chaos at your place /img/smilies/big_smile.png   I Loved seeing your Silkied Serama and all those babies!  Incredible to see so many and all so excellent.  Will you be at the CC this year?  My husband and I will be there.  I've talked to Ruth about it but she's probably not going to be able to manage it.   I'm so lucky that our youngest son is still home.  He takes care of everything when we're not here, it's not often we get away from home but it's so nice not to have to worry.

Here are some photo's of my flock today

I took some of my others, everyone was mellowed and tired.  I had the garage open all day, it was gorgeous outside, 60+  So the garage got a good cleaning, cages scrubbed and lots of sunshine for everyone.

This is Lil Miss Priss.

CocoPuff is finally getting all of her feathering in.  She's been a slow baby to mature.  She's not laying yet but I'm sure she will soon.

Lots of people in Ms have serama...many others all over the country ship...what kind are you looking for?   www.silkiedserama.com
Just the basic, doesn't have to be any special breed like silkie ect. I pass a house every morning on my way home from work that have them and recently have 3 or 4 babies. I slow down, almost to a stop, roll my window down and just admire them while hoping to see someone outside. Not sure really who they belong to but would love to know. Maybe one morning I'll stop and knock on one of the doors hopefully finding the owners. I would LOVE a pair of these! I came across a guy in my area who has a BEAUTIFUL Roo!! No pullet. I offered him up to $50 for him but he wouldn't go for it. Oh well I tried. He didn't even know what he had. I hope soon I can locate someone close to me with some for sale.

Thank you for your help and info. I will continue to search and aquire some of these cuties. If you happen to contact him please have him message me. BTW my name is Patches.

Hi everyone

I am new to breeding Serama and I'm from the UK, I have 4 home grown chicks ranging from 7 - 2 days old, and hopefully have more to come. I put photos of the chicks in my intro post.

How do you all keep your birds healthy in winter? I sort of want to make them hardy, but don't want them to die.
