from the kitchen to the back deck. Their outside semi-permanent housing is almost complete. Realized last night that we were running out of proper size wood screws so off to the hardware store after work today.

They did fine. I was a nervous wreck! I added some extra protection to their brood boxes, gave extra feed, and we had cowbell treat time as soon as they got settled from the shifting of the keet condo.

They are a full 3 weeks old now and I don't see anymore keet fuzz - but I did leave the heat lamp on. Didn't know about leaving it on today -- our deck is semi shaded so they won't get any direct sun exposure anyway.

Hopefully by this time Friday I can report they will have spent their first night in the intermediate run. Then it's off to start on their permanent coop/home.

Happy Wednesday everyone!!
