We are about to begin treating our hens for intestinal worms. We read, somewhere, that we can't eat the eggs during this time. What I was wondering is 1) can they be scrambled and fed back to the hens, and/or 2) can they be incubated?

Hi,

No one should not be eating the medicated eggs (the withdrawl for many worming treatments is 2 weeks after last treatment.). Yes, they can be incubated. Usually does not have effect on the embryos. We've incubated before during the process with no changes.

If you find you have to rid yourself of some eggs, I will often mix them into garden mulch, crushed shells and all.
