I am almost certain my 8 week old Ameraucana that I got from tractor supply, a.k.a. EE, is a cockerel. What do you guys think?

I bought 4 Easter Eggers from TSC. They sure grew alot faster than the RIRs I got last year. They're only 9 weeks old and are as big as the RIRs were at 4 months.

I'm 90% sure the dark one is a cockerel and I'm not sure about the gray/brown one.

The dark grey one is a cockerel and the others are hens. :) Also, next time, I suggest starting your own thread when you have a question instead of hijacking another one, it can be annoying to the poster at times. Happy chicken keeping!

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for hijacking the thread. I thought since it was a thread about EEs and whether it was a cockerel or not, it would be o.k. to post my own questionable chicken in the same thread. Next time I'll start a new thread.

@Sully0721 looks like a male to me. Pretty red for a comb at 8 weeks, and there are some longer tail feathers forming. Has this one crowed yet? We had an accidental EE cockerel, and he never crowed. We butchered him around 18 weeks...never a crow, but we had 2 other males in that same batch of chicks, so maybe he just figured he'd stay under the radar and not crow.
