Two mystery birds

I was told that this handsome roo is a Cochin cross of some sort. He is a total sweetheart and great with his ladies.

The lovely black hen was described as a Maran who lays the wrong colour eggs (I highly doubt that - I'm told she lays a creamy pink egg but can't confirm. All the eggs look the same, she is in with my sl Wyandottes) any guesses?

The top bird is definitely a Cochin mixed rooster. The bottom bird is either a Black Australorp hen (most likely) or a Black Jersey Giant hen. Check the bottoms of her feet. If they are an obvious yellow, then she is a Black Jersey Giant, but if they are, as I suspect, any other color (whitish, grayish, pinkish) then she is a Black Australorp.
