urgh!

I don't know where you are, but you might get on your state or country thread in the "Where am I? Where are you?" section of this forum and talk to your neighbors within driving distance, once you figure out what you want. They just might be able to help you with certain breeds.
 
Old English Game and barnyard mixes banties. The OEG I have go broody often. They are wonderful mothers, but if you free range they like to hide their nests. One of the things I like about them, is they encourage the chicks to roost sooner than LF birds.
 
hmm problem is im so in love with welsummers its hard for me to part with wanting them, mebys next year ill get oegb, welsummer and hope they will go broody, or black orpington but i would like one that will escape the early winter predetor that comes and im not sure the orpington would do that as my last one failed and got caught
