Vent problem

This doesn’t look like vent gleet or vent prolapse. But it causes a lot of discomfort of my hen. What is it and how to treat it?

It is swollen and the upper part is protruding.
 
Background info. Has she been having problems with egg laying? Huge eggs? Broken eggs? Shell-less eggs?

Has she been very poopy and needed to be washed?

How does she get on with the other chickens? Is she picked on?

If this is simply swollen vent tissue, you can use witch hazel to clean her as it's an astringent and can reduce swelling. Or if that won't work, use over the counter cortisone cream to reduce swelling.
